ORDINANCE NO. 0'-J 7/
AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING
A PORTION OF THE RIGHT-OF-WAY OF NORTH BEVERLY DRIVE
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas deems
it advisable and in the public interest to close and abandon that portion of a
street hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. That portion of North Beverly Drive, more fully described
as follows:
STARTING at a point in the south line of Thomas Hardy Survey A-367,
at its intersection with the east right-of-way line of North Beverly
Drive, said starting point also being the southeast corner of right-
of-way dedication for North Beverly Drive as recorded in Volume 9,
Page 33 of Wichita County Plat Records;
THENCE northerly with east right-of-way of North Beverly Drive
135.82 feet to its intersection with the west right-of-way of
Loop 11 for the PLACE OF BEGINNING for this tract;
THENCE with east right-of-way of North Beverly Drive, N 0° 59' 49" E
1043.37 feet to the beginning of a curve to the left having a radius
of 808.95 feet;
THENCE northerly with said curve for an arc distance of 32.25 feet to
its intersection with the west right-of-way line of Loop 11, a point
on a curve whose center bears S 69 58' 30" W 1367.39 feet;
THENCE northwesterly with the west right-of-way line of Loop 11, and
with a curve to the left having a radius of 1367.39 feet, for an arc
distance of 419.52 feet to its intersection with the west right-of-way
of North Beverly Drive, a point on a curve whose center bears S 57°
35' 43" W 718.95 feet;
THENCE southeasterly with the west right-of-way of North Beverly
Drive, and with a curve to the right having a radius of 718.95 feet
for an arc distance of 419.13 feet to end of curve;
THENCE with west right-of-way line of North Beverly Drive, S 0° 59'
49" W 1233.62 feet to its intersection with the west right-of-way of
Loop 11, a point on a curve whose center bears N 59 16' 17" W 1367.39
feet;
THENCE northeasterly with the west right-of-way line of Loop 11, and
with a curve to the left having a radius of 1367.39 feet, for an arc
distance of 210.68 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING.
be and the same is hereby closed and abandoned.
SECTION 2. The City of Wichita Falls, Texas, hereby reserves an easement
in a portion of said land for the purpose of laying and maintaining all kind and
character of utility lines including water, gas, electric, telephone and power lines,
sanitary and storm sewers and drainage ditches; no structures shall be built by the
landowner on said easement; such easement is more fully described as follows:
STARTING at a point in the south line of Thomas Hardy Survey, at its
intersection with the centerline of North Beverly Drive, said
starting point also being in the south line of right-of-way dedi-
cation for North Beverly Drive as recorded in Volume 9, Page 33 of
Wichita County Plat Records;
THENCE northerly with the centerline of North Beverly Drive, 31.28
feet to its intersection with the west right-of-way line of Loop 11
for the PLACE OF BEGINNING for this tract;
THENCE with center of North Beverly Drive, N 00° 59' 49" E 1147.9 feet
to the beginning of a curve to the left having a radius of 763.95 feet;

THENCE northerly with said curve for an arc distance of 178.5 feet
to a point in the west right-of-way line of Loop 11;
THENCE southerly, with west right-of-way line of Loop 11, and with a
curve to the left having a radius of 1367.39 feet for an arc distance
of 105.9 feet to a point five feet east of Southwestern Bell Telephone
Company underground cable;
THENCE parallel with and five feet east of said cable, S 00° 08' E
507.9 feet and S 01° 46' W 670.5 feet to a point in the west right-
of-way of Loop 11;
THENCE with west right-of-way of Loop 11 and with curve to the right
having a radius of 1367.39 feet, for an arc distance of 56.2 feet to
the PLACE OF BEGINNING. /
