ORDINANCE NO. _1
AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING A PORTION
OF WISCONSIN AVENUE WITHIN WESTMORELAND PARK
AND ADJACENT PROPERTIES ADDITION TO THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas
deems it advisable and in the public interest to close and abandon that portion
of a street hereafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
That portion of Wisconsin Avenue lying within Westmoreland Park and
Adjacent Properties Addition to the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, more fully
described as follows:
BEGINNING at the northwest corner of Block 110, Westmoreland Park
and Adjacent Properties, said corner being the intersection of the
east line of Alexandria Road and the south line of Wisconsin Avenue;
THENCE in a northeasterly direction with the south line of Wisconsin
Avenue approximately 1,650.0 feet to the northwest corner of Lot 7,
Block 109, Westmoreland Park and Adjacent Properties, being the
intersection of the south line of Wisconsin Avenue and the east
line of Greenville Road;
THENCE north 75.6 feet to the southwest corner of Lot 7, Block 106,
Westmoreland Park and Adjacent Properties, being the intersection
of the east line of Greenville Road and the north line of Wisconsin
Avenue;
THENCE in a southwesterly direction with the north line of Wisconsin
Avenue approximately 1,650.0 feet to the southwest corner of Lot 5,
Block 104, Westmoreland Park and Adjacent Properties, being the inter-
section of the north line of Wisconsin Avenue and the east line of
Alexandria Road;
THENCE south 83.8 feet to the place of beginning and containing 2.65
acres more or less;
be and the same is hereby closed and abandoned.
