AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING A PORTION OF AN
EASEMENT LOCATED IN THE HURSH ESTATES, FIRST SECTION,
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS., TEXAS
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas
deems it advisable and in the public interest to permanently close and abandon
a portion of an easement herein described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
A-portion of the drainage and utility easement located adjacent to
Lots 8 and 9, Block 1, Hursh Estates, First Section, of the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas, said portion being described as:
BEGINNING at the northwest corner of Lot 9, Block 1, Hursh Estates,
First Section,
THENCE north 100.0 feet,
THENCE east 120.0 feet,
THENCE south 500 04' west, 156.5 feet to the place of beginning, and
containing 0.28 acres of land,
SAVE and except for a ten (10) foot utility easement extending
across the north boundary of Lot 8 and that portion of the drainage
and utility easement otherwise being closed by this ordinance, and
ALSO save and except a ten (10) foot utility easement lying 5 feet
on either side of the property line between Lots 8 and 9 as extended
in a straight line from the present northwest corner of Lot 8 and
the northeast corner of Lot 9 to a point 100.0' north of the north-
west corner of Lot 9,
be and is hereby closed and abandoned.
