ORDINANCE AMENDING PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION
32-57 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, ESTABLISH-
ING RATES FOR SEWER SERVICE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Paragraph (b) of Section 32-57 of the Code
of Ordinances is hereby amended to read as follows:
" (b) The minimum monthly sewer charge for any user shall
be $1.75, which shall be charged any user whose water con-
sumption for the month does not exceed 200 cubic feet.
For larger consumption, the monthly sewer rate shall be
as follows:
The next 8 hundred cubic feet of water, $ .315 per hundred
cubic feet.
The next 658 hundred cubic feet of water, $ . 175 per hun-
dred cubic feet.
All over 668 hundred cubic feet of water, $ .14 per hun-
dred cubic feet. "
SECTION 2. The above schedule of sewer rates shall be
effective on all bills rendered after the 1st day of October,
1978 .
SECTION 3. The fact that additional revenue is needed
in the Public Utilities Division during the fiscal year
beginning October 1, 1978 in order to meet the costs Qg pxo
viding the service levels to be perfored creates an enseg5ency,J
this ordinance is declared an emergency measure and shall be
effective upon its passage.
