ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 17-19 OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES TO INCREASE THE CHARGE FQR CARRY CUT
SANITATION SERVICE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Subsection (2) of Section 17-19 is amended
to read as follows:
" (2) One-family unit or single-family unit,
without alley entrance, where it is neces-
sary to carry out refuse or garbage for more
than ten feet but less than fifty feet from
curb. $ 9. 00"
SECTION 2. Subsection (3) of Section 17-19 is amended
to read as follows:
" (3) One-family unit or single-family unit,
without alley entrance, where it is neces-
sary to carry out refuse or garbage for more
than fifty feet but less than one hundred
feet from curb. $13. 50"
SECTION 3. Subsection (4) of Section 17-19 is amended
to read as follows:
" (4) One-family unit or single-family unit,
without alley entrance,where it is neces-
sary to carry out the refuse or garbage
more than one hundred feet from the curb. $20.25"
SECTION 4. Section 17-14 of the Code of Ordinances is
hereby amended by adding a Section (4. 1) which shall read as
follows:
" (4. 1) If the occupant or occupants in the units
provided for in (2) , (3) and (4) above are cer-
tified by a physician or by a public service
agency that deals with handicapped persons, to
be handicapped to such an extent that they are
unable to carry out their refuse or garbage to
the curb, then the charge for such carry out
sanitation service at such unit shall be one-
half of the amount shown above. "
