AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING THE ALLEY IN
BLOCK 28A OF THE HIGHLAND ADDITION
WHEREAS, The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas
deems it advisable and in the public interest to close the alley in Block 28A
of the Highland Addition herein described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 The north-south twenty (20) foot alley in Block 28A
of the Highland Addition to the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, be and is
hereby closed and abandoned.
SECTION 2 The City of Wichita Falls, Texas reserves an easement
in the land contained in said closed alley for the purpose of laying and
maintaining all kind and character of utility lines including water, gas,
electric, telephone and power lines, sanitary and storm sewers and drainage
ditches; no structure shall be built on such easement.
