AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING A PORTION OF AN EASEMENT
LOCATED IN THE H-S SUBDIVISION OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas
deems it advisable and in the public interest to permanently close and abandon
a portion of an easement herein described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
A portion of the drainage and utility easement located in Block 4,
H-S Subdivision of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, and being more specifically
described by metes and bounds as:
Beginning at a point in the West right-of-way line of Cedar Elm Lane,
said point bears North 200 10' West 38.72 feet from the intersection of
the centerline of McGrath Creek as dedicated and the said West right-
of-way line of Cedar Elm Lane for the place of beginning of this
description;
Thence 30 feet North of and parallel to the above mentioned centerline
of McGrath Creek, as dedicated, North 700 58' West 95.36 feet to a
point of curvature;
Thence along a 190.99 degree curve to the left, with a radius of 30.00
feet, having a central angle of 72° 24'00", a total distance of 37.91
feet, said point lies 30 feet Northwest of the above mentioned center-
line of McGrath Creek, as dedicated;
Thence 30 feet Northwest of and parallel to the said centerline of
McGrath Creek, as dedicated, South 36° 38' West 37.85 feet;
Thence North 78° 39' West 5.53 feet to a point for corner;
Thence 35 feet Northwest of and parallel to the above mentioned center-
line of McGrath Creek, as dedicated, North 36 038' East 65.83 feet;
Thence 35 feet North of and parallel to said centerline of McGrath Creek,
as dedicated, South 70 0581 East 116.90 feet to a point in the West
right-of-way line of Cedar Elm Lane;
Thence along the West right-of-way line of said Cedar Elm Lane, South
20° 10' East 6.45 feet to the place of beginning and containing 0.023
acres or 990 square feet, more or less,
be and is hereby closed and abandoned.
