AN ORDINANCE DETERMINING THE NECESSITY FOR THE
ORDERING AND PROVIDING FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF
PORTIONS OF AVENUES , STREETS AND PUBLIC PLACES
IN THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS ,DESIGNATED
AS THE 1978 RECONSTRUCTION PAVING PROGRAM, APPROV-
ING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS PREPARED BY CITY
ENGINEERS AND DIRECTING THE ADVERTISING FOR BIDS
AND PROVIDING SUNDRY OTHER MATTERS INCIDENT THERE-
TO.
WHEREAS , the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls , Texas is
of the opinion that the hereinafter mentioned portions of avenues , streets and
public places in the City of Wichita Falls , Texas should be improved:
NOW, THEREFORE ,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, THAT:

It is hereby determined that it is necessary that the following portions
of avenues , streets and public places in the City of Wichita Falls , Texas be im-
proved, to-wit:
ARMORY ROAD: From the N.P. L. of Midwestern Parkway
to 125 feet north of the N.P.L. of
31st Street.
HOOPER DRIVE: From the N.P. L. of Puckett Road to the
N .P. L. of Reilly Road.
KENLEY LANE : From the N.P.L. of Old Iowa Park Hwy.
to 362.5 feet north of the N .P.L. of
Borton Street.
PASADENA AVENUE : From rom the N.P.L. of Johnson Road to the
W.P. L. of Fairway Blvd.
SULLIVAN STREET: From the E.P. L. of Brick Street to 200
feet east of the E.P.L. of Deggs Street.
WYOMING AVENUE: From the W.P.L. of Fairway Blvd. to the
W.P. L. of Wyoming Circle.

The City Engineer has heretofore prepared plans and specifications for
the improvement of the hereinabove described portions of avenues , streets and
public places , and such plans and specifications are submitted to the Board of
Aldermen for approval and adoption ; such plans and specifications be and the
same are hereby approved and adopted as the plans and specifications for the
improvement of the said streets .
III .
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force and effect immediately from
and after its passage.

Notice is hereby given that the governing body of the City of Wichita
Falls, Texas, has ordered and determined it to be necessary that the following
streets in the City of Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas be improved and that
a portion of the cost of such improvement is to be specially assessed as a lien
upon the property abutting thereon , and said portions of streets in the City of
Wichita Falls , Texas as follows :
ARMORY ROAD: From the N.P.L. of Midwestern
Parkway to 125 feet north of the
N.P. L. of 31st Street.
HOOPER DRIVE: From the N.P.L. of Puckett Road
to the N.P.L. of Reilly Road.
