ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 24-21 OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF POLICE
SERGEANTS AND POLICE OFFICERS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS , THAT:

Subsection (a) of Section 24-21 of the Code of Ordinances
of the City of Wichita Falls is hereby amended to read as
follows:
" (a) The following positions in the Police Department
are classified under civil service in compliance with Section
8 of Article 1269m of the Revised Civil Statutes of Texas, as
amended, and they are hereby set out as follows:
Classification - Title Number of Positions
Police Officer 99
Police Sergeant 21
Police Lieutenant 6
Police Captain 2"
