AN ORDINANCE WAIVING SIDE MINIMUM BUILDING SETBACK LINE REQUIREMENTS
ON A CERTAIN LOT IN THE CANNON PARK ADDITION OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS
WHEREAS, the owner of Lot 19, Block 2, Cannon Park Addition has
requested the side minimum building setback line requirements be waived on
said lot; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Board of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas has
recommended to the Board of Aldermen that said waiver be granted and a side
minimum building setback line of eight (8) feet be established on said lot.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Section 9 (L) (6) of Ordinance 2118, Comprehensive
Subdivision Ordinance, requiring that a lot shall have a side minimum building
setback line on the side street of at least fifteen (15) feet be waived for
such lot, and a side minimum building setback line of at least eight (8) feet
is approved.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall become effective only when the owner
of said Lot 19 replats all that part of Lot 20, Block 2, Cannon Park Addition
lying outside of Underwood Street right-of-way and Lot 19 (and other lots, if
he so chooses) into one new lot.
