ORDINANCE AMENDING CODE OF ORDINANCE SECTION 2-109 WHICH
REQUIRES THAT EARNINGS OF THE CITY EMPLOYEES ARE SUBJECT
TO CONTRIBUTION TO THE TEXAS MUNICIPAL RETIREMENT SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, the maximum annual earnings upon which a City Employee is
required to contribute to retirement by reason of current service rendered
by such employee to this City has been removed;
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, THAT:
Section 2-109 of the Code of Ordinance is hereby amended to read
as follows:
"Each employee of the City who is a member of the Texas Municipal
Retirement System, shall make deposits to the system at the rate
of seven (7) per cent for the Police Civil Service Employees, and
five (5) per cent for all other employees, of their individual
earnings."
