ORDINANCE GRANTING AUTHORITY TO WICHITA CLUTCH
COMPANY TO LOCATE A CABLE ON UTILITY POLES IN
PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Wichita Clutch Company is hereby granted
the right and authority to locate a computer interface cable
or cables on utility poles of Texas Electric Service Company
and Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in Barwise Street,
Virginia Avenue and Pecan Street between 201 Barwise Street
and 307 Pecan Street.
SECTION 2. The right and authority hereby granted is
for a period of seven months from this date.
SECTION 3. It shall be the responsibility of Wichita
Clutch Company at all times to maintain said cables at their
own expense. If some public use of such streets makes it
necessary that such cables be relocated, such relocation
shall be done at the sole cost and expense of Wichita Clutch
Company.
SECTION 4. Whenever any work is being done on such
cables, Wichita Clutch Company shall take all necessary
and proper precautions to protect the public from damages.
Wichita Clutch Company shall hold and save the City of Wichita
Falls harmless from all damages or claims for damages result-
ing from the installation, maintenance and location of such
cables.
