AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING THE ALLEY IN BLOCK B
OF THE KEMP-KELL AND JOLINE ADDITION.
WHEREAS, the owners of property adjacent to the east-west alley
in Block B, Kemp-Kell and Joline Addition have requested that the alley be
closed; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Board of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas has
recommended that said alley be closed; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas
deems it advisable and in the public interest to close the alley in Block B
of the Kemp-Kell and Joline Addition herein described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS THAT:
SECTION 1. The east-west twenty (20) foot alley in Block B of the
Kemp-Kell and Joline Addition to the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, be and is
hereby closed and abandoned.
SECTION 2. The City of Wichita Falls, Texas reserves an easement in
the land contained in said closed alley for the purpose of laying and maintaining
all kind and character of utility lines including water, gas, electric, tele-
phone and power lines, sanitary and storm sewers and drainage ditches; no
structure shall be built on such easement.
