AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 OF ORDINANCE 3428
DELETING THE RESERVATION OF DRAINAGE EASEMENTS
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen closed and abandoned a portion of North
Brook Street and Jefferson Street; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen retained easements for the purpose of
laying and maintaining storm sewers and drainage ditches; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Division has determined that there is no
longer a requirement for said easement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, THAT:
Section 3 of Ordinance 3428 is hereby amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 3. The City of Wichita Falls, Texas, hereby reserves an easement
in a portion of said land for the purpose of laying and maintaining all kind and
character of utility lines, including water, gas, electric and telephone; no
structures shall be built by the landowner oo�n//said easement.
