ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 14-71 OF CHAPTER 14
(ELECTRICAL CODE) OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES TO
ELIMINATE DEPOSIT FOR PAYMENT OF PERMIT FEES.
WHEREAS, the Electrical Code now provides that a master
electrician or industrial electrician may pay in advance their
requirements for permit fees for thirty days with a minimum
deposit of $100 paid to the electrical inspector' s office, and
it is deemed advisable to eliminate this provision.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Subsection (B) of Section 14-71 of Chapter 14 (Electrical
Code) of the Code of Ordinances is hereby amended to read as
follows:
" (B) Payment: All permit fees shall be paid at the time
the permit is issued. "
