AN ORDINANCE AMENDING COMPREHENSIVE SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE NO.
2118, WAIVING SETBACK REQUIREMENTS ON A CERTAIN LOT IN MIDWESTERN
PARK, UNIT ONE, A SUBDIVISION OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS.
WHEREAS, the owner of Lot 1-A, Block 4, Midwestern Park, Unit One
has requested the minimum setback line requirement be waived on that side of said
lot abutting Elmwood Avenue; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Board of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas has
recommended to the Board of Aldermen that said waiver be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 9 (L) (6) (a) of Ordinance 2118, Comprehensive Subdivision
Ordinance, requiring that a lot shall have a minimum building setback on the
front street of at least twenty-five (25) feet be waived for said lot, and a
minimum setback of at least seventeen and one-half (171) feet on Elmwood Avenue
is approved.
