ORDINANCE GRANTING WAIVER OF SIGN ORDINANCE
(ORDINANCE NO. 3263) FOR SMITH'S GARDENTOWN
LOCATED AT 4100 KEMP STREET.
WHEREAS, Smith's Gardentown desires to construct a sign for
their new facility, which sign is between the property line and
the building setback line, and it does not meet the requirements of
Ordinance No. 3263; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen find that the circumstances
in this situation are exceptional, and that a waiver should be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The requirements of Ordinance No. 3263 are hereby waived so
that Smith's Gardentown may construct on their property at 4100 Kemp
Street the sign as shown in the attached drawing.
