AN ORDINANCE ABANDONING CERTAIN UTILITY EASEMENT RIGHTS
WHICH WERE RETAINED AT THE TIME GALVESTON STREET BETWEEN
DENNISON AVENUE AND EDWARDS AVENUE WAS CLOSED BY ORDINANCE
NO. 1606
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas,
deems it advisable and in the public interest to permanently close and abandon
a portion of an easement herein described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
All utility easement rights which were retained in Galveston Street
by the City of Wichita Falls at the time such street was closed and abandoned
by the passage of Ordinance No. 1606, save and except all utility easement rights
in a sixteen foot strip north of and abutting the former south right-of-way line
of Galveston Street between Dennison Avenue and Edwards Avenue, be and the same
are hereby abandoned.
