Ord 3544 10/2/1979 ORDINANCE NO. 3.5-3/j/
AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING A PORTION OF THE ALLEY
IN BLOCK 2, EDGAR SCURRY SUBDIVISION, BETWEEN LOTS 13, 14B,
AND 16A
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas
deems it advisable and in the public interest to close a portion of the alley
in Block 2, Edgar Scurry Subdivision hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
That portion of the east-west fifteen (15) foot alley in Block 2, Edgar
Scurry Subdivision between lots 13, 14B, and 16A, be and is hereby closed and
abandoned, save and except a five (5) foot wide guy easement starting at the
northwest corner of Lot 14B, Block 2 and running thirty-five (35) feet along the
north property line of said lot.
