ORDINANCE RELEASING EASEMENT FOR WATER CONDUIT
ON BLOCK 13 and BLOCK 14, MIDWESTERN PARK, AN
ADDITION TO THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS.
WHEREAS, Louis Sikes executed an easement dated July 18,
1946, recorded in Volume 437 , Page 204 of the Deed Records
of Wichita County, Texas, to the City of Wichita Falls along
a certain designated center line across a tract of land in
the name of Louis Sikes in the O. H. P. Davis Survey, Abstract
65, Wichita County, Texas; the width of such easement was
not specified; and,
WHEREAS, a 48 inch water conduit was thereafter built
by the City on such easement; and,
WHEREAS, the present owner is selling Block 13 and Block
14, Midwestern Park, an addition to the City of Wichita Falls,
and the purchaser desires the determination that such easement
is not located on such blocks.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The easement for pipe conduit described above is hereby
released insofar, and only insofar, as it might cover Block
13 and Block 14, Midwestern Park, an addition to the City of
Wichita Falls, according to the plat thereof on file in the
office of the County Clerk of Wichita County, Texas.
