AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING AN ALLEY BETWEEN
LOT 10, BLOCK 5, SEYMOUR HEIGHTS AND LOT 37, BLOCK 5,
ALLENDALE HEIGHTS AND AN ALLEY NORTH OF LOT 10, BLOCK
5 , SEYMOUR HEIGHTS
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas
deems it advisable and in the public interest to close the alleys hereinafter
described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS ;
SECTION 1. That the twenty (20) foot wide alley lying between Lot
10, Block 5, Seymour Heights and Lot 37, Block 5 , Allendale Heights, and lying
north of the northerly right-of-way line of Jennings Avenue be and the same is
hereby closed and abandoned.
SECTION 2. That the twenty (20) foot wide alley lying adjacent to the ,
northerly boundary of Lot 10, Block 5 , Seymour Heights and east of the easterly
right-of-way line of Rosedale Street be and the same is hereby closed and
abandoned.
SECTION 3. The City of Wichita Falls, Texas, hereby reserves ease-
ments in said land for the purpose of laying and maintaining all kind and character
of utility lines including water, gas, electric, telephone and power lines,
sanitary and storm sewers and drainage ditches; no structures shall be built on
said easement.
