ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3452
TO EXTEND ITS EFFECTIVENESS THROUGH
AUGUST 31, 1980.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS THAT:
Subsection a. of Section 1 of Ordinance No. 3452 is hereby amended to
read as follows:
"a. A ninety (90) day renewable permit is obtained for the temporary
placement of a mobile home. The permit shall be renewed for a maximum
period ending August 31, 1980, based on evidence of continuous pro-
gress toward the construction or reconstruction of a permanent residence
on the lot."
The fact there is still a need for temporary housing for persons displaced
by the April 10, 1979 tornado creates an emergency, and this ordinance shall
become effective upon its passage.
