AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUBSECTION 1604 . 3 AND
TABLE 505, APPENDIX B, OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS
PLUMBING CODE, AND DECLARING AMENDMENTS TO BE
EMERGENCY MEASURES, EFFECTIVE UPON PASSAGE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Subsection 1604. 3 is amended by adding
Paragraph (d) which reads as follows :
(d) Gas supply to water heaters shall be rigid pipe or
AGA approved flexible copper connector.
SECTION 2. Table 505, Appendix B is amended by adding
the following:
PVC PRIMER--CLEANER
Will contain dye for easy identification of use.
SECTION 3. Ordinance declared an emergency measure and
effective upon passage.
The amendments contained herein will substantially lower
the cost of reconstructing structures, both residential and
commercial damaged or destroyed during the April 10, 1979
tornado, in order to keep the cost of reconstruction down,
this ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure which
shall become effective upon its passage.
