ORDINANCE WAIVING ORDINANCE NO. 3363 TO ALLOW
POSSESSION AND CONSUMPTION OF BEER IN SCOTLAND
PARK PICNIC SHELTER AT REGIONAL MEETING OF COORS
BREWERY ON JUNE 8 , 1980.
WHEREAS, the Golden Distributing Company is hosting the
regional meeting of the Coors Brewery on June 8, 1980 in
Scotland Park, and they have requested that they be allowed
to serve beer at the picnic shelter at such meeting on
that date; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen find that the circumstances
involved in this situation are exceptional, and that such
waiver should be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The requirements of Ordinance No. 3363 are hereby waived
to allow Golden Distributing Company to serve beer at the
picnic shelter in Scotland Park on June 8 , 1980, to the
regional meeting of the Coors Brewery.
