ORDINANCE NO. f77/
AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE NAME OF SOUTH FREEWAY WITHIN
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
OR PORTIONS THEREOF IN CONFLICT HEREWITH
WHEREAS, the Planning Board of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas,
has recommended that the Board of Aldermen change the name of South Freeway;
and,
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls believes
that it is in the best interest of said City that such name change be made.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The name of a portion of U.S. Hwy 281, known as South
Freeway, be, anti is hereby changed to Henry S. Grace Freeway.
SECTION 2. All ordinances, or portions thereof, in conflict herewith,
are hereby y repealed.
