Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute a Professional
Services Agreement with URS Corporation for engineering and
quality assurance testing services in conjunction with commercial
apron work for the Terminal Area Project at Wichita Falls Regional
Airport, in an estimated amount of $320,365.08
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires engineering, construction quality
assurance testing, and resident project representation services be performed in
conjunction with the above referenced project;
WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration will fund 90% of the cost of
these services and Airport Funds are available to fund the remaining 10% local share of
the service agreement; and
WHEREAS, URS Corporation proposes to provide these services at an
estimated cost of $320,365.08.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to execute the professional services agreement
attached as Work Order No. 26, with changes thereto in a form approved by the City
Attorney, in an estimated amount of $320,365.08.
