ORDINANCE NO. 28-2014
Ordinance authorizing the City Manager to execute an Engineering
Services Agreement with Freese & Nichols, Inc. to update the City’s
Long-Range Water Supply Plan, and making a budgetary
appropriation in the amount of $135,000 in the General Fund to
finance the cost for the plan
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls, Texas (the “City”) is responsible for
management of water supply for its water users;
WHEREAS, the City desires to update its Long Range Water Supply Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City has determined Freese and Nichols Inc. to be a competent
engineering firm capable of performing this work.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager of the City of Wichita Falls is hereby authorized to execute the
attached Agreement for Professional Services with Freese and Nichols, Inc. to
update the City’s Long-Range Water Supply Plan, with such changes as are approved
by the City Attorney, and $135,000 of General Fund reserves is appropriated to the
2013-14 budget to pay for the cost of the plan.
