ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 17-8 OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES TO INCREASE THE FEE FOR PICK UP
OF TREES, SHRUBS AND CUTTINGS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 17-8 of the Code of Ordinances shall read as
follows:
"Any person desiring to place tree trimmings
or hedge cuttings for collection, shall
cause the same to be securely tied for
collection in bundles not heavier than
seventy-five (75) pounds nor more than five
(5) feet in length and eighteen (18) inches
in diameter. These shall be placed with
the other garbage and trash for pick up
at the regular time for collection. If
more than three (3) bundles are placed for
pick up at any one time, an additional fee
shall be charged. The charges shall be
Twelve Dollars and 50/100 ($12. 50) per
hour for provision of a dump truck for
hauling to the landfill, and Five Dollars
($5. 00) per hour per employee for the labor
used in the removal. "
