Ord 3987 4/7/1981 ORDINANCE NO. 19/7
ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7-14 AND
SECTION 7-15 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES,
TO ADOPT THE 1979 EDITION OF THE STANDARD
BUILDING CODE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Section 7-14 of the Code of Ordinances is
hereby amended to read as follows :
"The publication entitled ' Standard Building Code' ,
1979 Edition, a copy of which, authenticated by the signature
of the City Clerk, is on file in the City Clerk' s office, is
hereby adopted as the 'Building Code of the City of Wichita
Falls' , as fully as if copied at length in this chapter. "
SECTION 2 . The first sentence in Section 7-15 of the
Code of Ordinances is hereby amended to read as follows:
"The following changes , deletions and amendments are
hereby made in the Standard Building Code, as adopted in
Section 7-14 . "
SECTION 3. The first sentence of Subsection (14 . 1) of
Section 7-15 of the Code of Ordinances is hereby amended to
read as follows :
" (14. 1) Amend Section 2204 by adding Subsection 2204 . 8 ,
which shall read as follows:
' 2204 . 8 . Cleanup Requirements; bond required. "
