ORDINANCE WAIVING CERTAIN REQUIREMENTS OF
SECTION 22-1, PARAGRAPH (a) OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES , AND ORDINANCE NO. 3363 FOR WEEK
OF MUSIC CELEBRATION IN DOWNTOWN MINI PARK
AND THE FARMER' S MARKET ON MAY 9, 1981.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS , TEXAS , THAT :
Notwithstanding the provisions contained in Section 22-1,
Paragraph (a) , and Ordinance No. 3363, it shall be lawful for
the sponsors of the "Week of Music" celebration to operate a
beer garden at the Downtown Mini Park and a concession area at
the Farmer' s Market on May 9 , 1981, from 1 : 00 P .M. to 12 : 00
midnight , and for such sponsors , or their concessionaire, to
obtain a Temporary License under the Texas Alcoholic Beverage
Code which shall authorize the holder thereof to sell beer and
wine only for consumption on the premises constituting the
Downtown Mini Park and the Farmer' s Market , in or from any
lawful container to the ultimate consumer, which Temporary
License shall be good only on Saturday, May 9 , 1981 , from 1 : 00
P .M. to 12 : 00 midnight .
