Res 236-83 12/6/1983RESOLUTION NO. D RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IRRIGATION AND LANDSCAPE IMPROVEMENTS AT THE TRANSFER STATION AND AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT TO THE CONTRACTOR, WEBB LANDSCAPE COMPANY. WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls and Webb Landscape Company entered into a contract dated October 10 , 1983, for the construction by the contractor of irrigation and landscape improvements at the solid waste transfer station; and, WHEREAS, the construction of such improvements has been completed in accordance with the plans and specifications; and, WHEREAS, the contract price payable under this contract was the sum of $48, 640 . 00, of which $46 , 208 .00 has been paid to the contractor, leaving a balance due of $2 , 432 . 00 . NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: The construction of such improvements by Webb Landscape Company is hereby accepted by the City of Wichita Falls, and the City Manager is authorized and directed to pay to the contractor the balance due as set out above.
