RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. I WITH RIO AIRWAYS, INC.
FOR LEASE OF PREMISES AT WICHITA FALLS MUNICIPAL
AIRPORT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, that:
That certain agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto, between the City
of Wichita Falls and Rio Airways, Inc. setting annual rental rates and landing fees
is hereby approved and the City Manager is authorized to execute same for the City
of Wichita Falls.

SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. I
THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this day of 1983,
by and between the City of Wichita Falls, (hereinafter called Lessor), whose address
is Municipal Airport, Rt. 4 Box 8, Wichita Falls, Texas 76301 and RIO AIRWAYS, INC.
hereinafter called Airline), WITNESSETH, That:
WHEREAS, the parties hereto entered into a lease agreement on 1 October, 1980,
for the considerations and purposes more particularly stated in said lease; and
WHEREAS, the Lessor's operating costs has increased.
NOW THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree to amend the basic lease, effective
10 October, 1983.
1. In Article II delete beginning October 1, 1980 and ending September 30, 1982 and
add beginning October 1, 1983 and ending September 30, 1985.
2. In Article III delete $1.83 plus $0.122 per 1000 lbs. and add $1.83 plus $.14 per
1000 lbs.
Delete $1.83 plus $.132 per 1000 lbs. and add $1.83 plus $.15 per 1000 lbs. for the
second year of the lease starting October 1, 1984.
3. In Article III B Office and Ticket Counter Space: Delete effective October 1,
1980, 1353 sq. ft. at $10.05 per sq. ft. per annum being $13,597.65 per year or
1,133.14 per month and add
Effective October 1, 1983, 1353 sq. ft. at $11.31 per sq. ft. per annum being
15,302.43 per year or $1275.20 per month.
Delete effective October 1, 1981, 1353 sq. ft. at $10.85 per sq. ft. per annum being
14,680.05 per year or $1,223.34 per month and add
Effective October 1, 1984, 1353 sq. ft. at $11.76 per sq. ft. per annum being $15,911.28
per year or $1,325.94 per month.
Baggage Claim Area delete effective October 1, 1980 for airline's prorated share of
1280 sq. ft. in this area at an annual rate of $4.50 per sq. ft. per annum and add
Effective October 1, 1983 airline's prorated share of 1280 sq. ft. in this area at an
annual rate of $5.06 per sq. ft. per annum.

Delete effective October 1, 1981, for airline's prorated share of 1280 sq. ft. in this
area at an annual rate of $4.85 per sq. ft. per annum and add
Effective October 1, 1984 for airline's prorated share of 1280 sq. ft. in this area at an
annual rate of $5.26 per sq. ft. per annum.
Freight Building Space: Delete effective October 1, 1980 470 sq. ft. at $4.30 per sq. ft.
per annum, being $2021.00 per annum or $168.43 per month and add
Effective October 1, 1983 470 sq. ft. at $4.85 per sq. ft. per annum being $2279.50 per
sq. ft. per annum, being $189.96 per month.
Delete: Effective October 1, 1981 470 sq. ft. at $4.65 per sq. ft. per annum, being
2185.50 per annum or $182.13 per month and add
Effective October 1, 1984, 470 sq. ft. at $5.04 per sq. ft. per annum, being $2368.80
per annum or $197.40 per month.
ALL OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS of the lease, as, amended, shall remain in
force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto subscribed their names as of the above
date.
