RESOLUTION NO.
APPROVING CONSTRUCTION AND AUTHORIZING
FINAL PAYMENT TO ELECTRA CONSTRUCTION FOR CONSTRUC-
TION OF FIRE STATION NO. 9 .
WHEREAS, Electra Construction has completed work on the
construction of Fire Station No. 9 , in accordance with the plans and
specifications; and,
WHEREAS , a change order of $1, 535 . 65, reflecting increased
costs, has been added to the initial award of $183 , 419 .00, therefore
leaving a revised cost of $184 ,954 . 65 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Such project is hereby accepted by the City of Wichita Falls .
The total amount due Electra Construction for the construction of
Fire Station No. 9 is $28, 902 .85, and the City Manager is authorized
to make final payment to such contractor based on this amount, less
500 .00, which will be retained for one (1) year .
