RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF SOUTHWINDS AND BRENDA HURSH DRAINAGE CHANNELS
PROJECT NO. 55-625 & 628.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids
for construction of Southwinds and Brenda Hursh Drainage Channels,
Project No. 55-625 & 55-628, of the 1980-82 Capital Improvements
Program.
WHEREAS , five bids were received, and it is found that the
bid of Garza Construction Company in the amount of $505, 515. 92
is the lowest responsible bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS , THAT:
Said bid of Garza Construction Company in the amount of
505, 515.92 is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is
authorized to execute a contract with Garza Construction Company
for the construction of such improvement.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 18th day of October, 1983.
