RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF PLUM CREEK DRAINAGE CHANNEL, PROJECT NO. 55-627
WHEREAS , the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids
for Construction of Plum Creek Drainage Channel, Project No.
55-627, of the 1980-82 Capital Improvements Program.
WHEREAS, five bids were received, and it is found that the
bid of Duke Concrete Construction Company in the amount of
187, 528. 00 is the lowest responsible bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS , TEXAS , THAT:
Said bid of Duke Concrete Construction Company in the
amount of $187 , 528. 00 is hereby accepted, and the City Manager
is authorized to execute a contract with Duke Concrete Construction
Company for the construction of such improvement.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 18th day of October, 1983.
