RESOLUTION TO APPROVE JOINT FUNDING OF WATER
MONITORING PROGRAM WITH THE U.S. GEOLOGICAL
SURVEY
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls is required by its permit
for Lakes Kickapoo and Arrowhead to maintain and operate three guaging
stations; and,
WHEREAS, these stations are operated and maintained by the
U. S. Geological Survey, Department of Interior, on a joint funding basis.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to sign a Joint Funding Agreement
with the U. S. Geological Survey at a total cost to the city of $6,330.00.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 18TH DAY OF OCTOBER, 1983.
