RESOLUTION APPROVING EXTENSION OF LICENSE AGREEMENT
WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF THE AIR FORCE, AUTHORIZING
USE OF RAMP AREA AT SHEPPARD AIR FORCE BASE FOR DRIVER
TRAINING SCHOOL FOR AN ADDITIONAL FIVE YEAR PERIOD .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS , THAT:
That certain Amendment to License Agreement, a copy of which is
attached hereto, whereby the Air Force extends the period in which
the City is authorized to utilize a portion of an aircraft parking
ramp area at Sheppard Air Force Base for a Police Department Driver
Training School, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is
authorized to execute the same for the City of Wichita Falls .

AMENDMENT NO. 1
to
DEPARTMENT OF THE AIR FORCE
LICENSE DACA63-3-78-0650
SHEPPARD AIR FORCE BASE, TEXAS
WHEREAS, on September 21, 1978 , License DACA63-3-78-0650
was entered into by the Secretary of the Air Force and the City
of Wichita Falls, Texas, to utilize a portion of Sheppard Air
Force Base for a Police Department Driver Training School,
under certain terms and conditions for a period of five (5)
years, beginning October 1, 1978 , and ending September 30, 1983;
and,
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, has requested
extension of the license for an additional five (5) year
period, and the Secretary of the Air Force is agreeable thereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, the original license is hereby amended
in the following respects only:
1 . That the term of the license be extended for an
additional five (5) year period, beginning October 1, 1983,
and ending September 30, 1988 .
2 . That this Amendment No. 1 shall become a part of
License DACA63-3-78-0650 , and all other terms and conditions
of the original license shall remain in full force and effect.
