RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
A CONTRACT WITH BIGGS AND MATHEWS, INC. FOR ASSIS-
TANCE IN PREPARING PLANS , SPECIFICATIONS AND OTHER
ENGINEERING SERVICES IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF ROADWAYS
AND PARKING LOTS IN JAYCEE PARK.
WHEREAS, the construction of new roadways and parking lots
is desired to improve Jaycee Park; and,
WHEREAS , funds have been allocated to construct these roadways
and parking lots; and,
WHEREAS, the Parks Department has recommended that consultant
assistance be utilized in the . development and construction of those
roadways and parking lots.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS , THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to sign a contract with
Biggs and Mathews, Inc . for assistance in preparing plans, specifi-
cations, and other engineering services in the construction of
roadways and parking lots in Jaycee Park in an amount not to exceed
8, 000 .00.
