RESOLUTION ANNOUNCING THE DATE, TIME AND PLACE OF
THE MEETING AT WHICH THE CITY COUNCIL WILL VOTE
ON THE TAX RATE FOR 1983 .
WHEREAS, on September 20, 1983, the City Council held a public
hearing required by Section 26 . 05 of the Texas Tax Code, at which
proponents and opponents of the proposed tax increase were afforded
adequate opportunity to present their views .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Such public hearing being closed, a meeting shall be held by the
City Council on the 27th day of September, 1983, at 8: 30 o 'clock a .m.
in the Council Chamber in Memorial Auditorium building in Wichita
Falls, Texas, at which meeting the City Council will vote on the
proposed tax increase. The date, time and place of such meeting shall
be announced, and notice of such meeting shall be published in accordance
with the requirements of Section 26 . 06 of the Texas Tax Code .
