A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING INSTALLMENT PAYMENTS INCLUDING INTEREST
ON LARGE WATER, SEWER, AND REFUSE BILLS
WHEREAS, some customers owe large bills due to economic hardship,
undetected leaks , vandalism, or other reasons and are unable to pay in
full by the due date; and
WHEREAS, an interruption of service would not benefit either the
city or the customer, since funds for full payment are not available.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS
THAT:
Under extreme circumstances citizens may be allowed to arrange
installment payments for a period not to exceed one (1) year for water,
sewer, and refuse bills subject to interest charges at prevailing rates.
Water, sewer, and refuse service shall continue, without interruption,
as long as payments are made as outlined in the payment agreement.
Failure to make payments as agreed, will void the agreement unless
otherwise approved by the Utility Collections Division.

I, the undersigned, hereby enter into an agreement to pay out the water, sewer,
refuse, and other charges at the above service address . It is understood that the
following conditions compose the terms of this agreement:
Amount covered by this agreement
Payments will be made on a regular monthly basis by paying current
charges plus the installment amount, beginning
Payments on the balance will be in the amount of $
per month.
Payments will be made by the due date of each months bill .
Payments will continue until the balance is "paid in full ."
No claim to any legal time limitations will apply to the bill
amounts covered.
Interest at prevailing rates will be charged on the amount due at
the time of payment.
A receipt for partial payment will be issued by the Utility
Collection Division.
No cut-off action will be taken as long as this agreement is held
valid.
Failure to make payment as agreed, will void agreement unless
otherwise approved by the Utility Collections Division.
I have read the above, and agree to commit to terms and conditions imposed by this
instrument.
