RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CONSTRUCTION AND AUTHORIZING
FINAL PAYMENT TO THE CONTRACTOR OF LANDFILL WATER
SUPPLY SYSTEM.
WHEREAS , the City of Wichita Falls and Bowles Construction
Company entered into a contract dated November 16, 1982 for
the construction of Landfill Water Supply System; and,
WHEREAS, such project has been completed in accordance with
the plans and specifications ; and,
WHEREAS, such contract was a unit price contract, and the
estimated cost based on estimated quantities was $32, 383 .88 ;
however, on the basis of the actual quantities used in the
construction, the total contract price is $35,842. 38, of which
34 , 050 , 26 has been paid to the contractor, leaving a balance
due of $1 , 792. 12.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS , THAT:
The construction of such project is accepted by the City of
Wichita Falls , and the City Manager is authorized and directed to
pay to the contractor the amount due as set out above.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 2nd day of August, 1983 .
