RESOLUTION APPROVING CONCEPT OF WICHITA GENERAL HOSPITAL LEASE
TO A NON-PROFIT CORPORATION, AND PROVIDING FOR METHOD OF
APPOINTMENT OF BOARD MEMBERS.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls that it is
to the best interests of the residents of such City that Wichita General Hospital
be leased to a non-profit corporation for operation of the Hospital as a locally
managed, voluntary, and non-denominational institution, subject to this body' s
approval of the final form of the Lease Agreement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of the non-profit corporation be
appointed by the City Council and the Wichita County Commissioners.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 12th day of July, 1983.
