RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT BID FOR CITY'S ANNUAL REQUIREMENT
FOR QUICKLIME TO USE IN TREATING WATER SUPPLY
WHEREAS, the City uses the chemical Quicklime to treat its fresh
water supply; and,
WHEREAS, bids have been received on the City's annual requirement
for this chemical; and,
WHEREAS, Texas Lime Company is the lowest responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with
Texas Lime Company for the supply of quicklime at a bid price of $200,010.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 17TH DAY OF MAY, 1983.
