RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 4 TO THE CONTRACT WITH
HAMBRICK-CRAIG GENERAL CONTRACTORS, INC . FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF THE SOLID WASTE TRANSFER STATION.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls and Hambrick-Craig General
Contractors, Inc . , as Contractor, entered into a contract dated
August 18 , 1981, for the construction of a solid waste transfer
station; and,
WHEREAS, it is deemed advisable to make certain changes in this
contract, deleting finish on certain structural steel, changing
weather stripping on certain doors, installing surface bolts on
certain doors, and installing bollards to protect exposed three-inch
water line, which changes will result in a net decrease of $1, 794 .00
in the contract price, and will increase the time for completion of
the contract by twenty-two calendar days .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Such Change Order No . 4 , a copy of which is attached hereto,
is hereby approved, and the City Manager is authorized to execute the
same for the City of Wichita Falls.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 3rd day of May, 1983 .
