RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE PARKS, RECREATION, AND OPEN
SPACE ELEMENT OF THE CITY'S C OMPREHENSIVE PLAN
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen adopted Resolution No. 77-82 authorizing
a contract with Myrick, Newman, Dahlberg and Partners, Inc. for assistance in
preparing the Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Element of the City's Comprehen-
sive Plan; and,
WHEREAS, the Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Element has been
completed; and,
WHEREAS, the Parks Board has recommended that the Parks, Recreation,
and Open Space Element be adopted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Element is hereby adopted as
a part of the City's Comprehensive Plan, and shall be used as a general guide
in planning parks, open space, and recreation improvements.
