RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID OF BROWNING ELECTRIC INC.
FOR INSTALLATION OF BALLFIELD LIGHTING EQUIPMENT
AT WILLIAMS PARK, AND AUTHORIZING CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE THE CONTRACT .
WHEREAS, the City has advertised for bids for the labor to
install ballfield lighting equipment at Williams Park; and,
WHEREAS, three bids were received, and the bid of Browning
Electric Inc . in the amount of $9 ,950 .00 is the lowest responsible
bid .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS , TEXAS , THAT:
The bid of Browning Electric Inc . in the amount of $9,950 .00
is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to execute
a contract with such contractor for the installation of such
ballfield lighting equipment .
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 15th day of March, 1983 .
