AN ORDINANCE WAIVING THE MINIMUM SIDE STREET BUILDING
SETBACK REQUIREMENT OF THE COMPREHENSIVE SUBDIVISION
ORDINANCE NO. 2118 FOR LOT 1, BLOCK 3, HARRISON ADDI-
TION, CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS
WHEREAS, the owner of Lot 1, Block 3 of the Harrison Addition to the
City of Wichita Falls, Texas, also known as 2000 Ardath Avenue, has requested
that the minimum side street setback be waived to allow the expansion of the
existing residence; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Board of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, with
the understanding that the proposed expansion will be used for residential
purposes, has recommended to the Board of Aldermen that said waiver be granted;
and,
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas,
having reviewed the Planning Board Minutes of July 8, 1981 and on the recommenda-
tion of said Board deem it advisable that such waiver be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS THAT:
SECTION 9(L) (6) (b) of Ordinance 2118, Comprehensive Subdivision
Ordinance, requiring that a corner residential lot have a minimum building setback
on the side street of at least fifteen (15) feet be waived for the plat of said
lot, and a minimum side street setback of at least eight and one-half (82) feet
is approved for said lot.
