ORDINANCE REZONING 15 ACRES OUT OF ABSTRACT 344, 1810 TRIGG
LANE, FROM SINGLE FAMILY-2 RESIDENTIAL TO MULTIFAMILY ZONING
AND AMENDING THE LAND USE PLAN; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT
THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO
THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the owner of 15 acres out of Abstract 344, Wichita County, Texas also being
along the north line of Trigg Lane, desires to rezone such tract from Single Family-2 Residential
to Multifamily zoning; and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended amending the Land
Use Plan and rezoning this property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this rezoning request and amending the Land Use
Plan amendment to conform to the rezoning are in the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City of Wichita Falls Land Use Plan, an element of the Comprehensive
Plan for the City of Wichita Falls, Texas is hereby amended for 1810 Trigg Lane, being 15 acres
out of Abstract 344, Wichita County, Texas. Said property is shown on the attached map,
incorporated in this ordinance as Attachment "A." Said property land use designation shall be
changed from Low Density Residential to High Density Residential.
SECTION 2. Said property being the same as described in Section 1, is hereby zoned
Multifamily Residential.
SECTION 3. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this
ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
