ORDINANCE WAIVING SEC. 82-63 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
TO PERMIT SIGNS DURING AN EVENT BY THE MULTIPLE
SCLEROSIS SOCIETY IN HAMILTON PARK SEPTEMBER 7, 2002;
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Multiple Sclerosis Society wishes to host a fundraising event in
Hamilton Park September 7, 2002, and;
WHEREAS, in order for their event to be more successful they request
permission to post signs during their event.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Sec. 82-63 of the Code of Ordinances is hereby waived to permit
the posting of signs during an event by the Multiple Sclerosis Society in Hamilton Park
September 7, 2002.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
