RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH GROVES AND
ASSOCIATES, INC. AND MIDTOWN NOW FOR
CONSULTING SERVICES ON THE RIVER DEVELOP-
MENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls continues to place a priority on public
and private development along the Wichita River; and
WHEREAS, the concept of such development has undergone a significant change
in recent years; and
WHEREAS, the City has available certain funds with which to begin such
development,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS,
THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Groves
and Associates, Inc. and Mid Town Now for the purpose of completing an initial
concept study for the River Development Project.
